JTEK Machinery, Inc. Is Now Industeq Inc.

January 1st, 2009

Since 1999, JTEK Machinery, Inc. has been a distributor for multiple Japanese technical name brand goods for machine tools, hence the name JTEK.

However, with the ever growing internet and web presence, we now sell to close to 50 countries.  Our sales have expanded beyond the machine tool industry.

Effective January 1st, 2009, we officially change our name to Industeq™ Inc.

Industeq is taken from the Industrial and Technical words as the product lines we service and represent.

With our markets broadened by the internet, a more focused name was decided to more properly represent the machine tool and machinery markets we offer goods to. This also helps us become more representative of our manufacturers we represent including Nippon Oil Pump, Sony Manufacturing Systems, Bijur Lubrication, Lube USA, Fuji Electric, Daito, Kyosan and more.

Industeq Visits Daito Communication Apparatus Co. for Introduction on New Fuse Products

December 24th, 2008

Industeq was invited to the corporate office of Daito in Tokyo where they make industrial fuses. Discussions of the new product line of the DC series fuses were introduced during the visit.

The DC fuse markets include a wide range of DC inverters and encompassing Solar power panel electronic inverters, along with other high amperage DC devices.

Daito also introduced a new line of cylindrical and solider type fuses for PCP’s and equipment. Please inquire with Industeq for certain applications and specifications.

Industeq also discovered the official date of the last SMP series fuse production. To comply with ROHS, the SMP series Daito fuse is officially discontinued and unfortunately there is no direct Daito equivalent. Since the nearest Daito fuse slow blow has a 30% difference in the characteristic, there is no direct replacement. Users of the SMP series are highly recommended to go back to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) of the component / PCB, that utilizes the SMP Daito fuse to see what the alternative is. At the present time Industeq placed a larger stock order to accommodate the US market to fill the gap for the time being. Industeq will have the SMP series fuse on our on-line shopping cart for ease of customers purchase.

Daito Communication Apparatus Co. fuses are used within the controls of FANUC, NEC and YASKAWA among other factory automation equipment and electronic equipment.

Industeq Goes to Nippon Oil Pump in Kumagaya

December 22nd, 2008

Alan and Mimi Dobbs of Industeq were invited for a 2nd time to the NOP factory in Kumagaya.  While there, they received training on 2 series pump repair and proper adjustments, along with hands on training on the disassembly and key features of the common Index motors. The training gave a great deal of factory know how on the internals and troubleshooting of the Nippon Oil Pump index motor.

Industeq now has adequate information to properly be a authorized NOP repair facility for the index motors along with the common Trochoid pumps.

There were also round table meetings at Nippon Oil Pump, where they discussed the growing demand for lubrication pumps within the wind generation industries.

NOP is working closely with several windmill gearbox manufacturers, and now have some new higher RPM 3 series oil pumps using radial needle roller bearings to accommodate the higher speed needed on the gearboxes being used on wind generators worldwide. The wind power gearboxes normally take more abuse considering the environment and non-human contact for longer periods.  Due to this, the dependability of the “Heart” of the gearbox is a must. Nippon Oil Pumps have a long standing success and are used with a handful of wind power / windmill manufacturers in Japan & China. NOP is considering to design a turn-key kit for the complete lubrication needs of the wind generation gearboxes using other name brand 3rd party oil filters and heat exchangers.

NOP also will also introduce complete bolts on multi station turrets for lathes and turning centers encompassing the reliable index motors within. Sizes are to be determined in the near future.
