Industeq was invited to the corporate office of Daito in
Tokyo where they make industrial fuses. Discussions of the new product line
of the DC series fuses were introduced during the visit.
The DC fuse markets include a wide range of DC inverters and
encompassing Solar power panel electronic inverters, along with other high
amperage DC devices.
Daito also introduced a new line of cylindrical and
solider type fuses for PCP’s and equipment. Please inquire with Industeq for
certain applications and specifications.
Industeq also discovered the official date of the last SMP
series fuse production. To comply with ROHS, the SMP series Daito fuse is
officially discontinued and unfortunately there is no direct Daito equivalent.
Since the nearest Daito fuse slow blow has a 30% difference in the
characteristic, there is no direct replacement. Users of the SMP series are
highly recommended to go back to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) of
the component / PCB, that utilizes the SMP Daito fuse to see what the
alternative is. At the present time Industeq placed a larger stock order to
accommodate the US market to fill the gap for the time being. Industeq will have
the SMP series fuse on our on-line shopping cart for ease of customers
purchase.
Daito
Communication Apparatus Co. fuses are used within the controls of FANUC, NEC and
YASKAWA among other factory automation equipment and electronic
equipment.
